Mara
The
Mara is a form of succubus which attacks sleeping people, in essene
raping or suffocating them. They also tangle the hair of humans and
animals, or ride horses to exhaustion during the night. They may also
be witches which can take the form of animals or can send their spirits
out the walk the world. Even if a Mara is killed her spirit can still
walk the world as a ghost.
